On February 23, 2022, a joint presentation between GFDRR’s new Digital Earth Partnership (DEP) and the ESA Global Development Assistance Program (GDA) was given on the complementary and coordinated efforts to mainstream Earth observation in the World Bank Operations.
During the session, GDA’s current and upcoming Knowledge Development areas of engagement and World Bank case studies were presented in order to highlight the power of combining Earth observation and local capacity building for development.
