VIDEO: GDA Theory of Change

The Global Development Assistance Programme (GDA) aspires to mainstream the use of satellite Earth Observation (EO) into development operations. To achieve this objective, a Theory of Change, defined by the United Nations Sustainable Development Group as “a method that explains how a given intervention, or set of interventions, are expected to lead to a specific development change”, was established for the GDA programme.

In this video, produced by Caribou Space and Imperative Space as part of the GDA Monitoring & Evaluation activity, the GDA Theory of Change is introduced to demonstrate how EO will be used to generate impacts that benefit communities around the world.
