[Video] Leveraging Development Finance – Procurement Insights

Caribou Space and Imperative Space hosted a webinar on “Leveraging Development Finance – Procurement Insights from the World Bank” under the GDA Monitoring & Evaluation activity on 15 December 2022. This event built on the knowledge gained at a previous webinar hosted by the EARSC EO Café in October; ‘Accessing development finance for the EO downstream sector’.

Alex Chunet (ESA representative to World Bank), Bwalya Mumba (World Bank Procurement Specialist) and Benjamin Stewart (World Bank Senior Geographer) provided a clear insight into how service providers could gain a better understanding of regulations that govern World Bank procurement processes. Through a series of informative presentations they talked us through the processes to follow that are specific to EO related procurement, as well as detailing how to best navigate ways to access these opportunities.

We were joined by an engaged global audience of over 45 participants. For those who missed the webinar all presentations and a recording of the event can be found here. A follow on webinar highlighting opportunities within the Asian Development Bank will be held in March.

A series of webinars as part of the M&E and Impact Assessment (GDA M&E) activities will run throughout 2023 and 2024 all of which will be advertised on the GDA website. We look forward to you joining us!
