Simonetta Cheli, Director of Earth Observation Programmes at the European Space Agency, is invited to a high-level panel on “Digital technologies for inclusive, climate-responsive development” as part of the European Development Days (21-22 June 2022). This session, organised by the World Bank Group, includes high-level panelists such as Hela Chekhrouhou, IFC VP for the Middle East, Central Asia, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
Simonetta Cheli is notably going to introduce the GDA programme as well as other ESA initiatives which contribute to ensuring long-term adoption for inclusive and climate-smart development. The description of the session is available here and the full programme of the EDD here.
