International Financial Institutions (IFIs) are increasingly realising the potential use of Earth Observation (EO) for Public Health. However, it is an area that is still not fully understood. To address this gap, the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Global Development Assistance (GDA) programme published a topical overview under the Monitoring & Evaluation and Impact Assessment activity, looking at the value of EO for Public Health by IFIs.
The webinar aims to promote the use of EO in Public Health by IFIs. It will demonstrate the significant role Public Health plays in development interventions and showcase the value that EO data brings to Public Health.
