The GDA team participates in a session entitled “Global Development for Green Deal” as part of the EXPANDEO & Fire Forum 2022.
Christoph Aubrecht (Programme Coordinator of Global Development Assistance at ESA) moderates the session which is set up to facilitate exchange between Earth observation service providers and policy experts. After presenting the GDA programme and its mission to accelerate impact by mainstreaming the use of EO into international development assistance activities and operations, the session aims at discussing with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships on how to capitalise on Earth Observation information through their programs in partner countries across the world to achieve sustainable development.
