DESCRIPTION:The UN – Austria Symposium 2022 is taking place online from the 13th to the 15th of September. This year’s theme is “Space for climate action: experiences and best practices in mitigating and adapting to climate change and supporting sustainability on Earth”. The event therefore focuses on showcasing the most recent initiatives as well as best practices in mitigating and adapting to climate change and supporting sustainability on Earth.\n\nSimonetta Cheli\, Director of Earth Observation Programmes at ESA\, will give a keynote presentation on ESA EO data and international cooperation in support of worldwide climate challenges on the 13th afternoon. Moreover\, Christoph Aubrecht\, GDA Programme coordinator will be a panelist in the morning of the 15th to discuss future activities of Space for climate action.
