SUMMARY:IFAD Food4Thought Series: Leveraging GIS for M&E
DESCRIPTION:IFAD is organising on 7 September 2022 a new “Food4Thought Series” online event on the theme Leveraging Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E).\n\nThe event will discuss the best approaches to systematically integrate GIS in M&E of development interventions in order to establish a data foundation for more transparent monitoring and impact assessment.\n\nClement Albergel\, Climate Applications Scientist at the European Space Agency and Technical Officer of the GDA AID Climate Resilience thematic area\, will share his experience from the Global Development Assistance initiative together with Athur Mabiso\, Senior Economist at IFAD and Oliver Mundy\, Environmental Analyst at IFAD.
